Academic Debate with DP Students

The Academic Debate on the topic “Should animal testing be carried out?” was held among first-year students of the Diploma Programme. Under the guidance of Ms. Marharyta, an IB DP English teacher, young debaters not only demonstrated remarkable intellectual insight while presenting their perspectives but also enhanced critical thinking, research, and public speaking skills. The engagement in such debates proves invaluable for students, fostering the development of analytical abilities and effective communication. The judging panel, comprising DP teachers and students, played a significant role in evaluating and providing constructive feedback.
