Checkmate fever hit Maarif Schools on February 29!

The semi-finals and final games of our groundbreaking chess tournament unfolded on this leap day, bringing together a roaring fanbase for each of the four brilliant players.

On the spotlight stage, the chessboard came alive with moves that were simultaneously projected on the screen, creating an immersive experience that kept the audience engaged and entertained. The atmosphere was competitive, and the players were in focus mode.

After an intense match, Ibrahim Latif from 9B emerged victorious, sealing the deal with a checkmate! His post-game interview revealed the mind behind the moves and added a personal touch to the triumph. The remaining players were also awarded and greatly supported, making it a memorable day for all parties involved.

We hope that on this day, our players showcased their chess prowess and learned valuable lessons in strategy, sportsmanship, and resilience.
