Grade 5 Students Visited Retirement Home

As part of our inquiry into our first unit “Who We Are” Grade 5 students learned about building and maintaining positive relationships. In order for us to have a more authentic, and real-life experience, as a team we have decided to visit the “Retirement Home”. The students spent time with the elderly, read books for them, made them laugh and told them how much they care as part of our community service.
