IB DP Students’ Lab Visit

Along with their biology teacher, Ms. Shadan Albakua, the IBDP students went to Dr. Tamara Mufti’s lab where they learned about the elements that determine a person’s blood type. The students were then taken to a room where cancer samples were prepared to be taken for further research. In line with the curriculum, they were also shown the effects of bacteria, the use of antibiotics, and many tools and processes used in a medical laboratory.
