Raising Awareness on Food Waste

We often overlook how much food we waste and its negative impact on the environment and climate change. Wasting food depletes resources and poses a threat to future generations.

Did you know that September 29 is the “International Day of Awareness on Food Loss and Waste Reduction”? The counseling department at our school encouraged students to raise awareness by showcasing videos and presentations in the auditorium. Each department had their own sessions in the assembly, where students discussed food waste and performed theatre plays to raise awareness in their unique way.
