STEAM Fair Event at IMSE

The MYP Science, IT, and Art teachers host a scientific fair for the students in grades 6, 7, 8, and 9 that includes 82 projects and has 120 attendees.

Mr. Mehmet Mevlüt Yakut, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Erbil, also visited our fair and got information from the students by examining the projects one by one.

Under the guidance of Science Fair coordinator and their supervisors, students made excellent preparations and performed incredible projects, experiments, and demonstrations.

Our IB students’ long-term learning is our school’s main goal at this event. All projects were reviewed by the judges, and the top 10 projects were announced and were awarded prizes for their accomplishments. All students who attended the science fair got appreciation certificates for their outstanding work.
