Videoconference with Grade 3 Students

As part of our transdisciplinary theme, Who We Are , PYP3 learners experienced a unique and exciting video conference which was held in our school concert hall. Ms. Bhavna Bissoondeeal joined us all the way from France as a virtual guest speaker to give insight into the culture of Mauritius, including its costumes, traditions, and celebrations. PYP3 students stood respectfully to sing along to the Mauritian national anthem. Students demonstrated being inquires by asking lots of questions about this fascinating island. At the end of the conference, students had the chance to try a KAJU KATLI dessert. Students received more than just new information; they create memories that will last a lifetime.
